Salome PREMENS  is a traditional herbal medical product formulated to alleviate menstrual symptoms occurring in the days preceding menstruation (premenstrual syndrome). 

This product is a traditional herbal medicinal product. The precise mechanism of action of agnus castus fruit is not entirely understood; however, it is believed to interact with the hypothalamus and pituitary gland, which are hormone-secreting areas of the brain. This interaction may result in the diminished production of the hormone prolactin, which is believed to be involved in premenstrual syndrome.

• Not recommended during pregnancy. 
• Not recommended during lactation. 
• If you have or have had an oestrogen-sensitive cancer you should consult your doctor before using agnus castus fruit. 
• If you are using dopamine agonists, dopamine antagonists, oestrogens or antioestrogens you should consult your doctor before using agnus castus fruit. 
• The use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age has not been established due to lack of adequate data. 
• Agnus castus fruit is thought to act on the pituitary-hypothalamic axis and therefore if you have a history of a pituitary disorder you should consult your doctor before use. 

If you have prolactin secreting tumour of the pituitary gland, the intake of agnus castus fruit can mask symptoms of the tumour
